Abstract

Financial management in retirement is a challenge in itself. Comfort as a worker with a monthly income change and it takes the ability to organize yourself both psychologically and materially. In the family sphere, mothers have the dominant role of managing household finances. As a part of the midwifery alumni and the continuity of a strong network of friendship among its members, this group of retired mothers have the enthusiasm to pick up knowledge related to finance to continue to support the welfare and economic stability of the family. The problem that often arises in connection with financial factors is the inaccuracy in the pattern of managing income funds and allocating their expenses to various planned and tactical objectives. The community service activities are one of the responsibilities of the Tridharma of higher education, with this activity as educators who become resource persons contributing to planning, and financial management training activities for the community of midwive alumni of the Palembang General Hospital in the Greater Jakarta area. This activity can add insight for lecturers and knowledge development for students
