Abstract

Machine production is a resource owned by the company in production activities, to maintain the smooth production of machinery or equipment needs to be done maintenance to prevent damage and stop production. PT Mayora Indah Tbk, Cibitung is company that produced foood is product candy. The process machine section adre production that have high damage frequecy of failura. Maintenance system periodic didn’t according to plan so maintenance is still conducted in a corrective maintenance. This research determine the implementation design of Total Productive Mintenance to be eliminate of six big losses and improve production process machine efevtivity with metode Overall Equipment Effectiveness. Before the improvement of OEE value of 79,13% due to downtime, so its performance efficiency 89,33%. After the impovement of its OEE value increased by 90,24%, which influenced by dwntime and its performance efficiency increased to 94,27. The result of this research with improvement in machine production process change stirrer motor in weigher central kitchen 1 and added header for devide air pressure which flows in to the central kitchen 1 can decrease downtime in production line, performance efficiency rises and average value OEE increased after making improvement and Total Productive Maintenance design in performing maintenance on the stirrer motor in the Central Kitchen machine 1.
