Abstract
Abstract This research is related to students using Instagram who expect positive likes and comments on their posts. to expect such shows there is a tendency to narcissistic habits. This study was made to determine whether there is a behavioral relationship between self-esteem and narcissistic tendencies in Instagram users. The method used is regression analysis . The sample of this research is 115 students of Bhayangkara University, Greater Jakarta. Data obtained through the scale of narcissistic behavior tendencies and self-esteem scale. The results of this study indicate that the regression analysis shows the effect of self-esteem with narcissistic behavior tendencies, meaning that the effect of self-esteem on narcissistic behavior tendencies is 40.2%, with a significance value of p = 0.021, p <0.05. The exhibition shows the role of self-esteem with the tendency of narcissistic behavior in students. Keyword : Self-Esteem, Instagram, Narcissistic Behavior Tendency
