Abstract

The aims of the study are: 1) to identify and analyze internal and external factors that influence the business units, 2) to analyze and the position of business units, 3) to formulate and recommend the strategy for business development in RADI, 4) to prioritize the strategy in primary hierarchy, 5) to make work plan and other activities needed The descriptive method through survey was chosen for the study. The decision maker as person who understand problem in RADI's development is selected for purposing sampling method. The analysis is carried out step by step using analysis tools internal and external factors evaluation analysis, the GE matrix and Analytical Hierarchical Process (AHP). There are five finding concluded from the research. Firstly, to analyze the external and internal factors for each business unit are (a) 2,703 and 2,585 for agrobusiness, (b) 2,276 and 2,382 for education, (c) 2,732 and 2,670 for agro-tourism. Secondly, all business units are located at fifth quadrant of the GE matrix graphic. Thirdly, there are several recommendations for each business unit position: 5 business strategic for agro-business, 4 strategic for education, and 6 strategic for agro-tourism. Forth, determine the priority in primary hierarchy. The last is improving working plan and activities required.
