Teachers’ Mental Health And Well-Being In Education_ What Can Be Improved For The Education System In Indonesia_.pdf Download (2MB) |
Abstract
This article is based on a review of teachers' mental health, and well-being is closely linked to student outcomes and the overall school environment. Interventions aimed at improving teachers’ mental health not only benefit teachers themselves but also have the potential to positively impact student well-being and academic success. The mental health and well-being of individuals in educational settings are influenced by a complex interplay of factors, including teacher mental health, student-teacher relationships, educational experiences, and environmental conditions. Addressing these factors through supportive environments, positive relationships, and targeted interventions is crucial for promoting mental health and well-being in education. Therefore, establishing a comprehensive support system for the mental health and well-being of schoolteachers involves implementing evidence-based interventions, promoting teacher support and well-being, and prioritizing mental health literacy training. By creating a positive and supportive school climate, schools can enhance teacher well-being, ultimately benefiting the overall mental health of the school community.
