Abstract

This research investigates the sources of operational performance improvement in supplier partnership. 97 suppliers of Japanese automotive compan ies in Indonesia were taken as respondents. Our findings showthattechnical exchanges, technology transfer and link duration have no significant impacts on the performance improvement of the suppliers. However, the findings indirectly highlight the role of relational assets in performance improvement from inter-firm relationship.
