Abstract

The distribution of food logistics carried out by food logistics distribution companies located in East Jakarta to the Kepulauan Seribu uses a type of motor fast boat transportation. The selection of vendor providinng motor fast boat transportation services carried out by the company’s management to choose which vendors can work well together and support the food logistics delivery process quickly and also guaranteed safety. The process of selecting a motor fast boat transporter vendor is carried out using a decision support system through the Oreste method. There are three alternative vendor options that will be assessed based on five assessment criteria. Based on the Oreste method, the first rank preference value was obtained from the results of the calculation of the smallest distance score of 48,2 which stated the vendor prioritized to choose in carrying out food logistics delivery cooperation were alternative CVND-T vendors.
