Abstract
Abstract. This study aims to see the extent to which Group and Network affect the welfare of street vendors in terms of gender identity in the East Flood Canal area, Jakarta. From the results of surveys in the field, this Group and Network is one of the dimensions that constitute social capital, which are proved to be a supporting factor for trade in the BKT region, and affect the welfare of street vendors. The results also show that there is a significant influence between the Group and Network on welfare, and there is no difference between male and female street vendors in gaining the opportunity to acquire skills or knowledge of trading, material assistance and moral support during trading.
