Abstract

This study aims to improve the abilities of PKO UBJ students by using the part method and the whole method with the kinovia application on the ability of running techniques. This study uses an exclusive research method with 2 cycles in the implementation of the research. Based on the results of the cycle I test conducted by the researcher, it can be concluded that the average score obtained by students during the initial phase of the test was 78,35. The average for the main phase ability results was 69.83 and the average results for the final phase of students' ability was 67,59. The results obtained by researchers on student abilities have increased but are still in the poor category. Then the researchers continued in cycle II by providing additional training so that the results of the assessment carried out by the researcher were an increase in the second cycle of students' running technique abilities with the results for the initial phase ability an average of 88.24. For the main phase ability results in cycle II with an average of 89.03. The results of the phase ability in the second cycle, the average value obtained by students was 87.8.
