Abstract

Abstract: This research aims at knowing the production and selling of wood door frame products by PT. STI as joint venture company locate in Tangerang. Based on the unfavorable of international marketing situation especially in relation with European countries, the is a need to analyze the selling trend of this product during the last period (2001-2004). At the same time, it is important to run statistical analysis measuring the relationship between export value with product price per unit, bank interest rate, $exchange rate and product transportation cost. Result of the research show graphically that there is significant decrease on selling in the last year. Through statistical test, we found that simultaneously, there is a significant influence of the chosen independent variable to selling volume. Partially, only price per unit and transportation cost influence the selling volume. Keywords: Wood door frame, production, selling, international market, marketing
