Abstract
Crude oil in the world market continues to decline and Indonesia must continue to invest which still doing well drilling and exploration in the basin/layers that have been known to contain oil and gas reserves. Althought difficult and complex,effort EOR to production wells still doing ,of course it is also based on the rigth science and technology. From 1997 to 2004 or from 7 years crude oil production decreased by 1,45 milion barrels per day to 1,1 million per day. Or down 350 thousand barrels per day per 7 years.Consumption rose from 850 thousand barrels per day to 1.1 million barrels per day. So crude oil consumption rises by 250 thousand barrels per day per 7 years.
